RED Pro 3 is the latest version of RED Pro with a refined and simplified lifting and locking function for rescue. The rescue kit contains the same components as the previous model RED Pro MK1 and the rescue methods are the same. However, we recommend that you read the user manual little extra carefully as RED Pro 3 comes with some physical changes.
RED Pro 3 is equipped with built-in torque limiter in the handwheel which is used to lift a person to more easily disconnect the fall protection equipment and then evacuate the person to a safe place.
In the case of descent / evacuation, the centrifugal brake is automatically engaged and regulates to a constant descent speed for simple and safe descent, from for example cranes, wind turbines, mobile work platforms and industrial buildings. Downhill speed is up to 2m / s depending on weight and number of people.
The brake and parking function on the previous model RED Pro MK1 has in model 3 been moved from the handwheel to the body of the equipment. To brake or park, place the rope between the two clamps and to slow down simply pull the rope out of the clamps.
RED Pro 3 Original comes with the new, simple QUICK ACCESS opening that allows you to quickly open the vacuum bag in case of an emergency. We have removed the small knife that previously came with our vacuum packaging as you now easily tear along the perforated edge.
RED Pro 3 Original is a kit with the following included products: RED Pro 3 device with rope, accessory kit for rescue, backpack with our original vacuum packaging and our iconic red box in plastic. The product also comes in Extended, Mobile and Training version.
